Clayton Sigmafire Steam Boilers
Compact Size
Reduces Installation Costs
Higher Fuel Efficiency
The new design uses radiation heat to preheat combustion air and a redesigned main heating coil to improve efficiency and lower fuel consumption.
To increase more efficiency Clayton offers an integral Economiser Section – increasing efficiency and therefore fuel savings during all firing conditions and offering a rapid return on its investment, typically as little as 15 to 18 months depending on fuel costs and operating parameters. Typical nominal efficiency gains with utilizing the integral Economiser range from 3-4%.
The Clayton Economiser is integral to the main coil unit which saves on footprint, does not require any additional structural engineering to build supports and can easily be installed to existing Clayton Steam units as retrofit kits.
PLC Based Controls and Full Modulation Burner
Improved PLC Based Controls – All the Advanced Steam Generator units use the latest PLC microprocessor main system controls to enhance operator interfaces and serviceability.
Full Modulating Burner Management Systems. Advanced Steam Generators are available with the latest servo-based burner management systems for improved pressure control, load following and repeatability.
All Clayton Steam Generators and Exhaust Gas Boiler Products under 10 MW in capacity and 10 MPa in design pressure are classified under the AS2953 Boiler – Safety management and supervision systems standard as under the Unattended Operation Category.
